Heal is a universal spell card which heals your character over some time.

Heal is an incredibly cost efficient spell. Just for 1 mana you get 20 health on lvl1. It is essentially the cornerstone of Roguelike mode play through as healing costs gold (and after reaching Massacre Freeplay difficulty the healing cost increases with every use). So you need to heal yourself in order to not run out of resources.

You can use healing in and out of battle but you need to stay in dungeon in order to use it.

As every spell card Heal needs to be equipped in order to take effect. So you cannot trigger it effect and throw it back into inventory. It makes it easier often to pull Heal from the inventory after or before the actual battle to not to waste your hand size.

Sometimes Heal can be used as a additional overall health boost in battle as you can effectively trigger it you even before you take any damage. This will add constant regeneration effect to your hero.

By v.1.00.17912 there is a bug with healing period which makes it significantly worse. The period stays 0.75 sec independent of level. The bug does not observed right after upgrade of a card but can be seen after game restart or some other action.

Legendaries[]

The Narcissist[]

This legendary card is useful for denying heals for:

  • Large groups of Zombies healing themselves when exploding
  • Gargoyles heal in stone form
  • Actual monster Heal spells.
  • Anger monsters healing themselves in the result of Anger effect

Can also be useful when fighting Archdemon as the succubi he summons first of all cast a Heal spell around them.
